Kaiken Mai

In the language of the Pehuenches, the indigenous community that inhabited the Mendoza area, Mai means “First”. It is also the name chosen for our first icon wine, the proud result of a continuous search for excellence.

Mai is the perfect expression of Malbec from our terroir of Vistalba in Mendoza.

We carefully hand select grapes from 125-year-old vines, to make a unique and elegant wine of great character. It is aged for 18 months in barrels of new French oak and then for another 24 months in bottle, before release. This is a wine with ripe fruit and spicy aromas, and a silky, sensuous palate with smooth, ripe tannins.

An attractive ruby red color. With extraordinary and concentrated fruit, it possesses beautiful aromas of redcurrants, black cherries and touches of tobacco. A wine of great body. Round and velvety on the palate, with soft tannins.

A touch of vanilla and toast is followed by a long, smooth finish. Very, very elegant.
